The ideal candidate should:
- be fully fluent in Arabic/English (written and spoken) with English being her/his first business language;
- be qualified in a civil law jurisdiction (eg. EU/Lebanon/Jordan/Syria) (although common law qualified candidates would also be considered), and have at least 4 years PQE gained at a UAE law firm or as an in-house;
- have had previous exposure to corporate finance/M&A transactions and/or commercial litigation;
- have previous working experience within the Middle Eastern region;
- have good drafting ability; and
- be able to work independently or with very little supervision.
